(*) The most famous are the Pierre Cardin's one (made for him by roger vivier). Some similar can be bought even in low prices shoe shops in France in 1967 & 1968. The real and typical '68 thigh boots are black, with flat heels, and are very high on the thighs, sometimes crotch high under the mini-skirt. They are in black ginza leather.
